Highway Products opened it's doors in 1980 building products for semi trucks. The stainless steel "Tee Lock" was the only lock capable of the demanding performance required. It's strong and dependable. That's why we install them as standard. We also have D-ring locks for fire departments.

We've used many different styles of locks over the years. If you have a favorite, let us know. Warning: Do Not Buy Service Bodies with Electric key-fob locks. We've tried them all and they are not dependable. We stopped using them.

One of the most over-looked and under-estimated parts of a truck body is the hinge and the way it's fastened. As you can see, Highway Products eliminated this problem by using oversized stainless steel hinges.

Plus, Highway Products uses Stainless Steel Torx™ screws that allows user to replace a door with simple tools in case of damage. No rivets here. Rivets work loose over time and you need special tools to replace them.

Who uses our boxes?

The Rainmaster (tm) semi underbody tool box offers secure storage for truckers. Semi drivers find them essential for toting road necessities: tarps, tie-downs, chains, rope, winch bars and V boards. On flatbed trucks, they can store assorted tools and oil, along with chains and tie-downs. Firefighters need boxes for clothing, extra nozzles, hoses and hydrant wrenches. And contractors use them on a variety of service vehicles for tools and supplies.
